Social Media executive

 

Social media executive sought for dynamic, fast growing international i-gaming company based in Malta. Would be responsible for producing, commissioning and uploading content. This will be video, written and photo material for our social media channels and our sites across the group. You will also be posting in forums and uploading banners. You should be marketing and tech savvy with the flexibility to juggle a million competing demands. Reporting to the head of marketing. Portuguese or German speaking a bonus but not essential. I-gaming experience an advantage. Salary circa €25,000 but negotiable depending on experience.

The Social Media Manager is a highly motivated, creative individual with experience and a passion for connecting with current and future customers. That passion comes through as she/he engages with customers daily, with the ultimate goal of:

 

  • Turning fans into customers.

  • Turning customers into advocates.

  • Lead generation.

 

Responsibilities:

  • communicating the company’s brand in a positive, authentic way which will attract today’s modern, hyper-connected buyers.

  • responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring the company's Social Media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts and increase sales

  • responsible for curating a brand's social channels and social listening

  • monitor, moderate and respond to audience comments;

  • post shareable videos and images.

  • write social copy, draft replies to messages and comments, and stay on top of key trends in social media.

  • network with key influencers in their industry to spread their brand message and make valuable connections

  • help implement and maintain online marketing strategies through social media.

  • use various forms of new media, such as chat rooms, discussion boards, wikis, RSS feeds

  • use a number of social media channels to increase impressions and reach of marketing messages

  • develop and expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts

  • oversee design (ie: Social media graphics for Facebook cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, Blog, etc.) in order to integrate with company’s overall marketing campaign plan and channels.

  • Experience using Bannerflow and/or NetRefer a plus!

  • Portuguese or German speaking a bonus but not essential.

  • iGaming experience an advantage.

 

Measure results daily:

  • monitor online reviews and respond to each review timely and with care.

  • analyze key metrics and tweak strategy as needed.

  • compile reports for management showing results (ROI).

  • monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.
